29) Launching a Movement: New Movement to Redress Racial Segregation (NMRRS)

This session features Richard Rothstein, author and research associate at the Economic Policy Institute and Dr. Tiffany Manuel, President and Chief Executive Officer at The Case Made. They outline the history of racial segregation in the United States and its present-day impact. Next, they explain the role of the National Committee to Redress Segregation in creating local civil rights groups which will address racial injustices and inequalities in housing. They describe the goals of the campaign, how to get involved, and who can get involved.
