President & Co-founder, Evanston Development Cooperative Dick is an Executive Scholar at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and he holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Harvard University and B.S. in Chemistry from UC Berkeley.

After 10 years at Northwestern as a professor, Dick decided to leave academia and double down on his town, Evanston, IL. He was the faculty director of the award-winning House by Northwestern project, and he firmly believes that Evanston has the human capital, financial resources, and moral goodwill to build a sustainable, prosperous, and equitable city.
